Document number mistake...again

Ok, as long as I have read this has happened to more ppl.

I was filling the checkin online and in document number (which is pretty confusing btw) I filled the card number instead of the rijkregister number (anyone from belgium?...it's like ur identity number i think...not sure..I'm not from belgium myself...). I don't know if they will accept this. It's a number on ur card yes, but still...

I guess I'll have to call to change it but I wonder if it's not easier to just book another ticket...(under the same name...is that possible?)

You entered the card numer and that's exactly what they need.
I once entered the rijksregisternumber but they let me through anyway.

I think I've always filled in the rijksregisternummer instead of the card number and I haven't had any troubles (about 10 flights or so)
