Buying extra ticket for Guitar???

Is it possible to buy ticket for guitar and take it in plain together with me and hold it in the seat as pasanger?

And when I am buying online ticket, I do not have to tick that I have a musical instrument with me? I just have to buy 2 tickets, one for me and other one for guitar with giving information as: choose Mr., enter first name as "EXTRA" and last name as "ITEM SEAT", choose "0 lugagge bags" and thats all? Please answer, I want to be sure about it, am I correct?

YES thats all! To book an extra seat for a musical instrument go online and select 2 seats the first seat should be booked in the actual passenger's name and the other seat should be entered as ITEM SEAT as the Last Name and EXTRA as the First Name. The name EXTRA ITEM SEAT will then be displayed on the online boarding pass.

Not crazy, I am glad that Raynair let me do this, and I think everybody, who carres about his musical instrument, should buy a ticket for it, it's safer, cheaper and better then put it with other lugagge, and pay for it 40 euro.

Does anyone know what to do in case you're doing a group booking and need to book more than one extra seat for guitars? I've seen some people have tried Extra Item Seat #1, Extra Item Seat #2 etc but I don't know if that actually works... please help!
