Booked 2 passengers, now only 1 is going

Post by Tobbetysk on Sun 12 Sep 2010 - 19:44

I booked a flight from Stockholm-Skavsta to Hamburg Luebeck for me and my kid on october 1st. Now my kid changed his mind and doesn't want to go, but I am still going anyways. Is it okay if only I show up at the airport or do I have to change booking details and does Ryanair charge me for this? This is not about refunding money, I know I already paid for the flight and I don't want any money back but still I need to know if I only can check in myself and my son stays at home and there will be no trouble. On Ryanair's homepage there is nothing about such cases. HELP ANYONE?

Ja du kan checka in dig själv och lämna pojken utanför, ryanair bryr sig inte ett smack.

Har vart i samma situation och det är ing aproblem.

No problem, I have already done it several times. Me without a part of my family, my family without me, there's not any problem and they won't charge you for that. Their flights are non refundable so you can't do anything to vacate the empty seat.

Thank you very much for your answers, now I can calm down, I wasn't sure what Ryanair's terms and conditions says about such matters. I maybe thought that if they know that my son is not going, maybe they can give his seat to another one, in case the flight was full-booked.
I am going to check in online, so it's possible to only check in me, not him, right?

Yes but it wouldn't matter if you did check your child in and they didn't travel, it would just be considered a standard no show.
