Booking flights for friends
I was thinking about buying a couple of my friends a return flight in the new year, the thing is .. if i book the flights is there any way of them being able to check in online with out me doing it for them.
seems if i buy the flights i will need to add their passport info ... if i do buy but add one of their email addresses, they will see my payment details...and what i paid for the tickets lol.
Any ideas.

As long as they have your e-mail address and the booking reference to check in, then it should be fine

I did not want them to see how much i paid for the ticket or view my part credit card details.
may not be possible then.

Re: Booking flights for friends
Of course it's possible! What Mushroom wrote that it's enough if they have your email address not your password. What they need to provide when checking in on line is the confirmation number (which you can write on a piece of paper) and your email address (which you can also write on a piece of paper). Just because you give someone your email address doesn't mean that they can see your emails, now does it?
Hope this makes more sense....

if i gave them my email address and reservation number , i thought they still would see £costs and part credit card details .. i will test
.i tried options 2 and 3 manage my booking .. if i add information to either option .. the cost and part credit card details still can be seen..

Re: Booking flights for friends
It's true that if they choose the option "View My Booking" instead of "Check in on line" they will see that information. In that case you need to ask them for their document details and check them in....there is no other option...
