Ryanair problem in Bydgoszcz EPBY (Poland)

Flight to Dublin. Aircraft problem with APU.

This Ryanair had planned flight at 10:35. When it turned on engines it looked like APU had had damage. Mechanic arrived from London in the evening. At last plane flew to Dublin 12h later.

That's not good for Ryanair, it looks like they've the last time just accidents (Limoges, Lodz and now Bydgoszcz :-( )

Yes, there are a few incidents at the moment. However, the circumctances are different :
- Limoges : landing overrun in bad weather
- Lodz : taxying incident, seemingly due to wrong ground markings
- Bydgoszcz : technical
- Brno : birds ingestion
A carrier with a very large fleet is of course prone to have more incidents - but you are right, it's unpleasant ...
