Newest FR 737

Post by atoutprix on Sun 18 May 2008 - 13:33

Michaël O'Leary had said that the FR airplanes would be still cheaper to buy by dispensing with the window blinds. Are the very latest B737 really without them, has somebody here seen it ?
Window blinds are useful when you have the sun right in your eyes, and dispense with them would be driving the economy push a bit too far, in my view ...

Window blinds are useful and so his idea was blocked for security reasons (don't ask me why). All the new B738 have window blinds.

I think window blinds are unnecessary, why would they have to put them in for security reasons?

Well as atoutprix wrote, window blinds are useful when the sun is shining in your face. Of course, I could also live without them but it seems that an aircraft HAS TO HAVE windowblinds.
I believe putting them in for security reasons is bullshit, but it seems that is why they had to leave them in.
