Cash Passport Help

Post by katien on Mon 6 Feb 2012 - 21:18

Hi,

I'm about to purchase a Ryanair Cash Passport as myself, my husband, son and my Grandma travel 3-4 times a year with Ryanair so it would save us a lot of money.

I have a question though that i can't find the answer to:

I live in the UK and my Gran lives in Sweden, can i use the same Cash Passport to pay for our flights to sweden in GBP and my Gran's flights to the UK in SEK? Will i be charged anything? It seems silly to get 2 cards when the minimum top up is £150 each. Also, is this £150 each time or less after the original deposit?

Thanks in advance.

Yes is the simple answer- I regularly book flights from mainland europe to the uk(as sometimes my flights will start there) as well as uk to mainland europe. typical exchange rate is charged
£150 is the minimum you can load onto your card. example if you have a credit balance of £120 and you need to buy tickets costing £125 then unfortunately you are only £5 short but need to add altleast £150 to the card.
regards

I have another question, does the card holder have to be a passenger? Thanks.

I have booked tickets for family members who have travelled without me - unsure if i have done wrong but they have had no problems flying- Maybe it is best you contact them and ask directly for peace of mind.

regards.
