Travel Document Number

Post by mcjicia2 on Wed 19 Sep 2012 - 20:42

What travel document number should I enter, I am a non-EU citizen. I have a valid Passport. However, the Passport number and booklet number are different. The Italian Consulate in UK, issued the Schengen visa with my booklet number on the visa page instead of the passport number, and they insist this is correct as per their regulations. The problem now is which number should I use for the on-line check-in, which clearly asks for the Travel Document number, should I use the correct Passport number or should I use the booklet number which is engraved on each page. Any help will be much appreciated. Flying out this Sunday.

I know its strange that the two numbers are different but that is true for all computerized biometric Passports issued by my country.

Ryanair like passports, so use that number.

Also as you do not appear to have a European passport you will have to have your boarding card stamped at Ryanair check-in desk, --- BEFORE ------ going to gate, so allow more time.
