Post by Zippy1980 on Sat 3 Aug 2013 - 20:39

HI all

This sounds a silly question but I am trying to work out bit and bobs for a turnaround on a ryanair flight. Ok my question when u travelled on a ryr flight how long before departure does the pilot normally do a PA also crz and what if anybody as sound or video record may u send me a copy please. I am doing this for flightsim so hope it don't sound to much of a silly question.

The pilot (or the F/O) does a PA when all passengers are seated.
I don't remember exactly what he says, but he usually gives his/her name, the name of the other pilot and of the cabin crew; some information about the flight - if there is a delay, and why; the lenght of the flight, sometimes the itinerary with the towns overflown on the way; the weather at destination; and he usually ends up by asking to carefully listen to the safety demonstration ...
