taking bike on one way Ryanair flight

Post by harryone on Wed 21 Aug 2013 - 18:41

Hi,

Hope someone can advise.

Have recently booked my return flight to Malaga with Ryanair and have now decided I want to take my road bike with me (boxed) and leave out there (at second home).

Cant seem to find a way of booking a single journey for the bike under sports equipment. Terms say £50 each way at time of booking or £60 at airport. However there is no single route option.

I dont want to pay £100 for a return bike transfer when the bike is only going out and not coming back.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

thanks

HOWEVER, if you book a return flight with no bags and complete and pay for that booking, but then go back to add a bag at a later stage before checking in, then you have the option of adding the bag for the complete journey or either leg (outbound or inbound)
Should work for "Sports Equipment"
