RYANAIR CABIN CREW STRIP OFF FOR CHARITY CALENDAR
FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS!
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ANGELS QUEST
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (15th Nov) unveiled 2008’s hottest calendar, as Ryanair’s cabin crew strip down to their bare essentials for charity. The Ryanair Calendar is now on sale onboard all Ryanair flights from Saturday 17th November, with all proceeds benefiting charity Angels Quest, which provides respite care for children with special needs. A limited number of calendars will also be on sale on www.ryanair.com.
Launching the calendar, Ryanair’s Director of In-Flight Eddie Wilson said:
“Ryanair’s gorgeous cabin crew are raising the cabin temperature with 2008’s hottest calendar. From today, passengers will be able to bring a dozen of Europe’s most stunning cabin crew home for just £5 / €7, and all of the proceeds will go to Angels Quest to support their work in providing respite care for special needs children. This exclusive Ryanair charity calendar will be onboard for a limited period only, so we urge passengers to buy the next time they fly.”
I saw some pictures (http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?ID=23287 , click on "januari" and/or "februari"), they look quite nice.

Re: RYANAIR CABIN CREW STRIP OFF FOR CHARITY CALENDAR
A few more details about the Ryanair calendar in "Airliner World", january 2008 issue, page 64 - on sale now :
Ryanair "opened the doors" to all the staff, and they had 40 volunteers from all around the European bases.
They cut the entries down to just 18, and took them to Gerona (GRO - Spain) for a two-day photoshot. They finally took 12 of them for the final calendar.
Eddie Wilson, Ryanair's Director of Personnel and Inflight : "I am proud that I can say that we have some cracking cabin crew and we hope to turn this into an annual event".

10000 calendars sold
The entire lot of 10000 Ryanair 2008 calendars has been sold.
A Spanish consumer association gave the sale a decisive boost by loudly protesting against the allegedly too sexy girls on display.
