BVA: Paris Beauvais (Tillé) - France
Ryanair fly to Beauvais as airport for Paris.
Runway :
13/31, 2430x45 m.
ILS cat3 (from nov. 2011)
Airport website :

Terminal :
The terminal is rather small and one can see it has been built bit by bit.
Landside, there are :
- 20 check-in desks
- a "Petit Casino", ie a very small supermarket
- two restaurants : a self-service and a resto/pizzeria
- a bookshop/newspapers/souvenirs
- a tourism and information office
- possibility of changing money
How to reach the airport :
There is a coach service to and from Paris, Porte Maillot, in connection with the flights - it's a 90 km trip that lasts some 1h15 min : the coach leaves the airport 15 to 30 minutes after the flight arrival, and leaves the Porte Maillot 3H15 before the scheduled departure time; it costs 13 euros one way. More about it on the airport website.
There is also a bus service to downtown Beauvais.
Sorry, only night pictures :

I have landed there by night (diversion from Charleroi), but I have seen no tent !
I'll post a picture here soon, but at the moment, I have a small problem with Imageshack.

Re: BVA: Paris Beauvais (Tillé) - France
I would NOT recommend flying to BVA unless your local departure airort fails to offer direct flights to Paris. Or your intended destinations is near to BVA.
€15 each way to north west Paris is just ridiculous for such a low cost airport, luckily I paid less for my FR ticket.
It just doesn't make sense that ryanair is selling seats for less than the bus provider at the airport. Ryanair should negotiate with the airport to lower the bus fare, after all it is ryanair who is filling up their seats.
A discounted return ticket would be handy at let's say €25.
Avoid BVA unless you can't get a better fare anywhere else. Of all the airports I have flown t with ryanair, this airport takes the biscuit for bus fares after Torp and skavska.
