GRO: Barcelona Girona - Costa Brava (Spain)

In the north-east of Spain, between Barcelona and the French border - 30 km away from the Mediterranean coast.
It's an important FR base, with flights to more than 50 destinations in Europe, Marocco, including also domestic flights.

From and to the airport :
Only by road (no railway station).
Girona airport is connected by coach to many destinations : Girona, Barcelona and many seaside resorts of the Costa Brava and around :

To Girona : a bus every hour on the hour.30 to the Girona bus station (next to the railway station) - 12 km - 25 min.
From Girona to the airport : every hour on the hour (the bus station is next to the railway station).

To Barcelona : there are coaches in connection with each flight - to Barcelona bus station (Estacio del Nord) - 85 km - 1h15 (normally)
From Barcelona to Girona airport : also coaches in connection with the departing flights

I recommend all arriving passengers to go directly to the "Barcelona Bus" counter (which is in the luggage reclaim hall opposite to the belts) before collecting your luggage as a huge que will form after all pax have picked up their luggage and want to buy airport bus tickets.

Hi Due to visit in November, normally we pre book a minibus to Lloret, but weare thinking of taking the bus from the airport to the main bus station in Lloret because we land approximately 10.30 so time is on our side.. any used this bus and have any ideas of prices? sgales site seems a little out of date.

tried the local bus Girona airport to Lloret de mar bus station... cost €8 each way, the transfer we normally take door to door cost us €9 each way... a very little saving so its pre booked for me next time.
