HELP !! Typing error in the name of the passenger

I have a very big problem :
when I registered, I wrote my name with an typing error. I suppose I can't travel if my name is wrong... But I saw I must pay 100 euros (!!!!!!!!) if I want to change my name !!!
What can I do ??

Hello !

Don't worry...I've had the same problem last year...And they don't tell me anything...When i showed my ID card, they understood i had made a small typing mistake, very quickly!

Some friends from other forum said, that before departure they are going to ryanair ticket desk, or something like a sale agent at the airport, showing their reservation, ID and they're printing new card with right name. It usually costs nothing and then you are sure everything is clear.

I have this also myself. My friend booked our return flights, after I had booked my outbound flight. He mis-spelt my name with an E instead of an A. I went to the ticket desk at Shannon airport, and the lady changed it on their system and handed back my web checked-in boarding card and said everything will be fine. It was and cost nothing.

I think a genuine mis-type can be spotted and corrected with the minimum of fuss, it's when you turn up with a boarding card/reservation saying "Smith" and saying you mis-typed it, it should be Williamson, they may get a bit suspicious
