Question about boarding cards to Spain

Post by iangibson on Thu 18 Jun 2009 - 14:26

Please could you tell me if boarding cards to Spain (which requires Advanced Passenger Information) display your date of birth? I'm keen to keep mine private from my friends.

Thanks.

Mine BGY-GRO had no date of birth....But you still have to show your ID/passport at the gate

It depends where are you flying from. I was traveling from Charleroi to Madrid last weeks and system didn't ask me for any additional information.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not really bothered about showing passport etc at boarding. I specifically wanted to know if the date of birth is printed on the boarding card itself (including if you print it yourself). I'm travelling East Midlands Airport to Valencia, Spain. which requires Advanced Passenger Information to be typed in before the journey.
